"Retro-Futuristic" Art Inspiration

Most of us had those books that told us how the future would be. It was pretty neat and funny because most of those predictions didn't come true. Today, it's a great source of inpiration.

The Usborne Book of the Future was first published in 1979 by Usborne Books, and written by Kenneth Gatland and David Jefferis. A trip in time to the year 2000 and beyond. See the robots, machines and cities of the future, and then travel to the stars. To check more pages of it, click here.

Dois anos atrás criei uma imagem de um efeito bokeh digital no Pixelmator que ficou muito conhecida na Internet. Eu criei a imagem facilmente usando filtros do Pixelmator, que na época era novidade, usei o filtro Defocus. Eu simplesmente apliquei o filtro e adicionei uma gradient overlay layer para criar o efeito. No entanto, nesse tutorial, vou mostrar a vocês como criar um efeito bokeh um pouco diferente, mas de um jeito simples e que nos dê um resultado muito legal.
