As you may have seen from our social channels, we have been covering the launch of the new car company called: LYNK & CO (via our Instagram) in Berlin, Germany. It has been an exciting ride as that is our first international unveiling for Abduzeedo. As expected, we are now releasing the first official images for what it would be called the LYNK & CO Model 01. What comes different from them to other car manufacturers from the shopping experience to how you will interact with the car on a daily basis, it will be a whole concept on his own. As we were intrigued about when this will be on the market and at what price? We still don’t know yet but one thing we do know is LYNK & CO Model 01 will be launching first in China and Europe for 2017. The US market will fall shortly afterwards, so more to come. Some Words The 01 will be the most connected car in the world. Designed for a modern, urban audience who are used to collaborative consumption and all the benefits that this brings. As consumer behavior changes from valuing experiences over ownerships, LYNK & CO’s new model for car usage directly answers to this need. With our app, and the LYNK & CO sharing community, both the owner and other member-drivers can easily share a car. The open platform also welcomes collaborations with developers and other creative minds to introduce new applications and experiences into the automotive world - Alain Visser, Senior Vice President of LYNK & CO. The car has a share button, enabling the driver to generate rental income via a shareable digital key. The car owners can remotely grant people access to drive the car. Via the LYNK & CO app they control, monitor and share their car from their smartphone – or directly from their car. Model 01: City The open API, connected to numerous sensors in the car, and the dedicated LYNK & CO app store open up endless opportunities for third party developers to invent new apps and for users to personalize, enrich and expand the automobile experience. They are beautiful, expensive, symbol of luxury; aren't they really? I am talking about magnificence automotive cars, only a certain amount of people will ever be able to afford one of those. Actually, if we think just a little deeper, what's so definitive about these "exotic cars", I mean we can take any cars and strap the logo and make it our own right? Actually no, there's a reason why these cars are so pricey. I would say the quality and durability of shorts is the reasons why you would want to get a luxury car. The marketing of the brand is also another factor that contributes to the finesse of it all, through this process we'll have photography work done too. Let's take a closer look at the work from Marc Trautmann Since 1993, Freelance photographer with a focus on automotive and people. About Marc Trautmann Marc is a photographer based in Frankfurt, Germany. Working mainly in photography and digital photography, Marc had the opportunity to work with car brands like: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar and more. I found Kim's work on Instagram and was instantly hooked to her Traveling Cars Adventures series. As she says at her website, the series shows her little toy cars in dramatic situations. And I gotta say it is hard for you not to fall in love with her toy cars and embark on their journey. Kim is currently lives in London where she is studying Photography at the University of the Arts London. Her pictures are delicate and inspiring. You can totally put together a whole background story for her little cars. I'm a total fan of her pics and I had to share them here with you. Take a look! My name is Kim Leuenberger, I was born in 1992 in the North West of Switzerland in a region called Jura. As the regions is quite small and lost in between two chains of mountains, I started to travel a lot around Europe, hungry to discover more of the world and be a real explorer. I always liked photography and started it at a very young age, however I only owned my own dslr for my nineteenth Birthday. It has been love at first sight with a little nikon d3100. Almost 2 years I've upgraded to a Canon 5d mark iii and learned all I know about photography by myself, by reading magazines or websites. I now use a range of different cameras to capture the car series, with an Olympus EM5 mkII and sometimes a LeicaQ. I love being creative with my photography as well as documenting the life around me. I love making objects and tell a story through my pictures, music is my biggest inspiration, I named many of my pictures after songs of my favorite artists (Mumford and Sons, Ben Howard, etc..) And don't forget, we are all explorers of this beautiful world! There's nothing better than starting the week off with some inspiring photos from old cars modified to cross the desert at massive speed. It sounds like the plot for a new Mad Max movie and the work that Christopher Wilson shared on his Behance profile titled Bonneville Speed Week could definitely be a part of the movie series. The images are quite stunning, especially the mood evoked and the more I get myself into photography more I'm inspired by beautiful photography work. For more information about Christopher make sure to check out this work at http://www.christopherwilsonphotography.com/ Part of a campaign of imagery documenting Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Olivier Gamiette is a self-taught designer from Paris, France. With the main interest of bringing new exciting ideas to life Olivier today works for Peugeot as Senior Designer in Paris. In this project he showed us how he rendered children's sketches into incredible car designs. It's awesome to see the evolution of the basic sketches to the final result and how much of the basic concept kept unchanged. Oliview brought six children's car sketches to life by rendering them as a prize for the 'Draw Me The Car of 2020' design competition, launched in collaboration with the french children's magazine Okapi. The six 9-14 year old winners – Clement, Thomas, Tom, Lena, Leo and Gaspard – were able to see their dream cars realized with my personal photoshop rendering method. I presented the first placed winner, Clément, with a 270mm by 140mm model of his design at an awards ceremony held at the cPeugeot's design center in Velizy, France. I shared with the young winners my thoughts and inspiration behind their designs. . It was totally amazing and so magical for them to discover their sketch reinterpreted in a realistic rendering drawing. They were very proud and some of them already know they would like to become car designers .. Details For more information visit: http://www.behance.net/gamiette

Escape Artist took the good old Formula 1 liveries and implemented them on the new cars that were being used this 2013 season. The result is a mix of retro x new. As we all can agree the retro liveries had so much character and bring such good memories. Enjoy! For more visit Escape Artist. We've been spending our evenings transplanting some of the best liveries from the last couple of decades of F1 onto a 2013 car... Maybe the McLaren would go a bit faster with this old livery!
Today I was reading about HDR and decided to get some inspiration on the subject. I am a super fan of HDR photos and we've been posting about it since the very first year of the blog. It's incredible to see how popular HDR has become and I'm still amazed by the visual style this technique can give to photos. Atomicpixal demonstrates this beautifully with some HDR photos of cars that look like legit illustrations of hot rods. I have been a Freelance Photographer for a very long time. I enjoy post processing images as well as taking them. I moved to Menifee two years ago from Oceanside and I love the area. I also collect antique cameras. I am an old darkroom photographer that has been converted to the digital world. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
If you are fan of nice cars and good movies, chances are you have seen these cars on the movies before. But now they are completely illustrated by Spanish graphic designer Jesús Prudencio. Enjoy! For more from Jesús Prudencio visit behance.net/jesusprudencio.
I was reading my news in the end of the day today then I saw this beautiful photo of a batmobile and the titled saying "Cars we love". It turned out it was a series of digital photography of cars that we really love, from the Batmobile of the 1989 Batman movie to the iconic DeLorean from The Back to the Future movie. If yo like cars, and photography you will love this collection. This is the first two of an ongoing series I called 'Cars we love'. I grew up watching F-1 races on the weekends, my favorite driver was Ayrton Senna and he used to be part of the McLaren team back in the day. I remember that one of my favorite things to do in school was to draw his F1 racing cars. I also remember when McLaren announced their first car and since then they've been pushing the limits of card design. The new McLaren MP4-12C is a proof of that. This post tries to show not the car only but the work of Thomas Moeller who took this amazing photos. For the launch of the new website cars.mclaren.com we got the opportunity to spend 4 full days shooting the MP4-12C at the McLaren Product Centre in Woking, England. We also spent time across the McLaren Technology Centre, shots the new McLaren P1, and long quiet evenings exploring and experiencing the amazing space that these cars are produced in. We aimed to bring a much more luxurious, artistic, and elegant feeling to the shoot and get creative within the constraints and limitations of the space. Thomas Moeller is a London-based Creative Director with over 15 years experience across US, UK, European and other international markets - currently Creative Director at SapientNitro London, the world’s largest integrated marketing & technology firm. Icons embody certain qualities that represent something else of greater significance through literal or figurative meaning, from a bottle of Coca Cola, the red tab on a pair of Levi's to the smooth lines and timeless headlights of a Porsche. Today on Abduzeedo we bring you a stunning gallery featuring a vintage 3D render of a Porsche 550 Spider. This beautiful icon has maintained its longevity and design integrity over the years, evolving ever so slightly to deliver each new generation the Porsche it dreamed. I grew up in Brazil driving around in my dad's VW Beetle born from the same designer, Ferdinand Porsche, and have always had an obsession with the design of this car. One day I'll own one but for now I can only post about my dream car and channel my inner Hank Moody. - "If you analyse the function of an object, its form often becomes obvious." - Ferdinand Alexander Porsche When you spend all that time creating one really detailed 3d model, it only seemed logical to create a series. This time we wanted to explore closeups and use depth of field and bokeh effects - additive studios About Additive Studios Additive is a post-production studio based in London, Comprising two talented CG artists / retouchers (Matt and Pete) with over 20 years’ experience between them (Saddington & Baynes, Um CGI and Solid), you benefit from tightly costed estimates (no flashy offices or leggy secretaries, sorry) and the undivided attention of the two key people. When I was a kid I used to love to draw cars, from the iconic VW Beetle to Formula 1. I had so much fun, especially in school, where apparently, was the most inspiring and creative moment for me to zone out of the day's lesson and sketch. Nowadays we have a bevy of tools right at our fingertips and with computer and 3D software we can go that extra step and make really amazing car renderings in one fell swoop. The idea of this post is to feature some really cool 3D cars created by Jan Mokrzecki, an extremely talented digital artist from Poland with a great portfolio of beautiful car renderings. Bentley Mulsanne Jaguar D-Type Longnose 1954 Shelby Cobra 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 Eleanor Plymouth GTX 1970 Dodge Charger 1971 Hummer H1 2004 For more information about Jan Mokrzecki visit http://www.behance.net/janmokrzecki
