Fazer o design de um logo é apenas uma parte do processo de criar uma identidade visual. Existem tantas aplicações diferentes que nós designers precisamos considerar antes de fazer o design delas. Pode ser um cartão de negócio,brochures, envelopes e outras coisas do tipo. Agora, é muito importante ter em mente que o processo não é simplesmente colocar o logo e está tudo pronto. Cada peça deve ser pensada e criada para comunicar os objetivos e a imagem da empresa para a qual estamos trabalhando.

Logo design is one of the most fascinating areas of design. Even though it might look easier to design a logo compared to a web site, the designer has to work on a word, sometimes with a symbol, that will represent a company or a product to thousands of people. We’re so used to some tech companies logos that sometimes we think they’ve never changed, they were always like that.

This site has good stuff, as they ask, ever wondered what company logos mean and whats the significance behind them? Wonder no more! http://www.funonthenet.in/content/view/344/31/ They show some logos and theirs meanings like the Amazon's logo, I always wanted to know what that arrow means, and the explanation is really cool. You might think the arrow does nothing here. But it says that amazon.com has everything from a to z and it also represents the smile brought to the customer's face.
